Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith Fuel Level Sender RF9227

Part number RF9227 is the genuine fuel level sender for 1950-1955 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith, Silver Dawn and Bentley MkVI and R Type models with the later fuel tank configuration. It is designed to work with the vehicle's fuel gauge to measure the fuel level in the tank.

Two types of fuel tanks were fitted to MkVI and R Type cars, using the same electrical sender for the gauge but different internal tank configurations. The float arms are different shapes to suit the respective tank designs.

RF9227 is intended for models fitted with the later tank configuration. Early models fitted with the earlier tank require the RF5410 sender instead.
