Rolls-Royce Modified Front Wheel Cylinder Operating Jaw & Pin RG8490

Part number RG8490 is the genuine modified front wheel cylinder operating jaw and pin for specified 1950-1955 Rolls-Royce and Bentley front brake applications. From chassis number B1GT, all front wheel cylinders should be fitted with this modified front jaw.

The modified jaw forms part of the front wheel cylinder operating mechanism and works with the cylinder to operate the brake shoes. Correct installation helps maintain proper movement within the front braking system.

RG8490 was fitted as standard to very late R Type models after B60XF and is designed to be retrofitted to earlier cars. The forks are supplied with a new stop pin, part number RG8489.
